Polls & Survey Unit

The Polls & Survey Unit at “Al-Quds Center for Political Studies” was established in the Year 2004.

The unit was created to survey and study Jordanian public opinion regarding various issues in both internal and external arenas, which fall within the context and spectrum of Jordanian interests and priorities.

Since public opinion has obvious importance in contributing to decision-making in society, a number of Governmental and Non-Governmental institutions pay close attention to public opinion standard, studying it's directives through specifically targeted public opinion polls.

Based on this, Al-Quds Center for Political Studies has allocated an independent unit to present opinion standard service in the political, economic, social, media and marketing sides, due to the fact that these terms have become an undivided part of modern policy, in light of the attention  given by countries, Governmental and Non-Governmental institutions and individuals to these polls which are playing an increasingly important role.

In accomplishing its work, the Opinion Standard Exploration Unit at Al-Quds Center depends on specialized researchers who use advanced scientific methods in preparing studies and analysis of results.  The unit runs several polls, including the following:-

Periodical Polls, explore citizens’ opinion on political situations, such as, measuring the citizen’s opinion regarding the performance of Governmental Institutions or Civil Society organizations, and the role of woman in public and parliamentarian life. Also controversial issues which command a wide space of discussions at political gatherings are examined

The Opinion Standard Unit is concerned with economic issues, as the unit proceeds polls related to individual’s income, prices, citizen’s opinion of economic policy and the presenting of conclusions and results which provide more accurate and deeper understanding for decision-making by proposing solutions to confront these problems.

Special surveys, studies performed by the unit for certain political, economic and social categories, and requested to be proceeded by interested parties. and requested to be proceeded by interested parties. tend to be proceeded by interested parties.
