	The Jordanian Media Monitor at AL-QUDS CENTER FOR POLITICAL STUDIES has carried out a survey study on ( The Soft Containment and its Effect on the Independence of Media ), the third of its kind to be carried out by the Monitor since 2009.

	Upon the invitation of Al-Quds Center for Political Studies and with the participation of 60 Syrian opposition figures, a conference titled “Citizenship and the Democratic, Civil State” was held near the Dead Sea shore. The conference called on the unity of the opposition over a program of common grounds on the nature of the political regime and the state- religion relationship

	According to a report issued today–Sunday- by Jordanian Media Monitor at Al-Quds Center for Political Studies, the number of press freedoms violations in the kingdom reached last year 2011 about 87 which included all forms of violations.

	Majority of Jordanians support constitutional amendments, while 40 per cent oppose forming governments from a parliamentary majority, according to a recent opinion poll.

	Al-Quds Center for political studies organized a workshop and a dialogue for youth on July 18, 2011; in which a number of youth participated in representing (13) youth movements from Jordan.

	Turkish youth delegation from Justice and Development Party visited Al-Quds Center Sunday 17 July 2011. This visit came in the context of a tour by the Delegation to Jordan.
